About: The Dzus Fastener system consists of a cad plated steel stud, an aluminum grommet, and a music wire spring. They are used in covers, plates, cowlings, and similar units, which require quick removal and replacement. When studs are worn, broken or otherwise damaged they must be replaced.
Dimentions: AJ5-40 Dzus Stud Type AJ, oval head dia 9/16" (C), stud dia 5/16" (A), working length .400 (L), Undercut .190 (B)
Springs: use with S5-200 (.200 height) or S5-225 (.225 height)
Grommets: use with GA5-312 (.312 height, max material thickness .062) or GA5-375 (.375 height, max material thickness .125) Note: AJ type Dzus studs can be installed with or without grommets.
